Rare Coin Shipping Times
As is stated on the purchasing page, coins can take 6-8 weeks to ship as they are minted on demand to maintain the quality standards that we believe our customers deserve.
Coin return, refund and Cancellation policy
Due to the limited nature of our coins, all sales are final. This is also stated on the purchasing page.
Customers may request to cancel their coin order if it is unfulfilled, but we are unable to provide a refund.

Can promos, discounts and points be used on coins and gold bars?
No promos or discounts may be used on rare metal items. This includes chive box and iChive subscriber discounts.
I was charged shipping for my rare metal order
To protect our customers' coins and bars better, we charge for shipping to provide insurance. This is for our customers benefit and peace of mind that if there is an issue with the carrier we may make it right.
There is also an option for extra protection of $1.99 that you may deselect at checkout to opt out.
My Coin was marked as delivered, but it’s still not here
Carriers will often mark parcels as delivered preemptively before they actually arrive at their destination. This is due to backlog and post offices being busier than usual.
If your package fails to arrive a week after it is marked as delivered, follow these steps:
1.) Contact the carrier and file a claim.
Once packages are marked as delivered, they are ultimately the carrier’s responsibility.
2.) Contact our Customer Experience team at help@thechivery.com and we will assist you as best as possible.
My Coin arrived damaged, scuffed, scratched, etc.
First, take a soft cloth and attempt to gently clean the coin. If the scratch or scuff cannot be polished away, follow these steps:
1.) Take a photo of your coin.
2.) Email help@thechivery.com and include your photo in the email.
We will be happy to assist you and make it right!
Replacements for lost, stolen, or damaged coins
Due to the limited quantity of coins minted, we may be unable to provide replacements.
