- If you have a monthly, annual, or 3 year membership: ensure you are not confusing sponsored posts with ads. Only Lifetime members have ad-free viewing and sponsored post free viewing.
- Ensure ad-blocker is turned off specifically for theCHIVE. Counterintuitive, we know, but after paying for ad-free we take care of those ads for you. If you aren't sure how to turn off ad-blocker, refer to this google support article: https://support.google.com/chrome/answer/7632919?hl=en&co=GENIE.Platform%3DDesktop
Please note: this is for chrome browser (which theCHIVE works best on). If you use another browser, refer to the respective browsers help support to see how to turn off ad-blocker for theCHIVE there.
- if on the mobile app, ensure you are signing in with the email you subscribed to theCHIVE membership for, not apple sign in or google sign in.
- if you subscribed in-app, the benefits may not apply. In this case contact the helpdesk (email above) and they may be able to assist (this is not guaranteed, in app issues are managed by the third party and not the chive).
